Dr S. J. Arohunsoro is a Reader in the Department of Tourism Studies. He holds  B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Geography from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria in 1991 and 1999 respectively. He also holds Master of Environmental Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Ph.D in Geography and Planning Science from Ekiti State University in 2006, 2007 and 2011 respectively.

Dr S. J. Arohunsoro was on the University of Ilorin scholarship programme during his undergraduate and Masters programmes in the University of Ilorin and had the best graduating result in the Department of Geography and Faculty of Business and Social Science during his set in 1991.

Dr S. J. Arohunsoro joined the service of Ekiti State on 8^th March, 2012 as Lecturer II in the Department of Geography and Planning Science and has since risen to the position of a Reader. He was seconded by University to Department of Tourism and Hospitality (Now Tourism Studies) by the Ekiti State University Management in 2017 to serve as s Senior Lecturer. His past and current services in the University include/the following:

He is also currently the Secretary to the joint Ekiiti/Ilupeju Association of concerned Landlords on road and transformer projects in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
