Dr. Oluyemo Catherine Ajoke is from Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti South West Local Government. She had her elementary and Secondary Education in Ekiti State. She graduated from University of Western Ontario, Canada, BA in Sociology/Religious Studies in 1990, MSc in Gender Studies from University of Ado-Ekiti and Ph.D in Community Development from Ekiti State University.  Employed as an Assistance Lecturer in 2009 and through promotion she has rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the University. Her area of specialization is Gender and Community Development.  Presently she is appointed as the Ag. HOD of the Department in August, 2021.  She had some publications in both international and local journals to her credit.
